Install FortiClient
Customers install FortiClient VPN from Fortinet, Apple App Store, Google Play, or their managed endpoint profile.
Connect SSL VPN
They choose the assigned VPN profile, authenticate with username, password, and FortiToken/MFA when required.
Open Portal
The app checks the trusted network path and opens the secure client portal for tickets, billing, and service activity.

The customer app never stores FortiGate passwords, shared secrets, or FortiToken codes.
Enable PORTAL_ALLOWED_CIDRS on the server to require VPN/internal source ranges for the customer portal.
CSRF protection, rate limiting, secure sessions, no-store portal headers, and prepared SQL statements remain active.
